Ownership inscription on f. 7v: שלי אני הצעיר... מלחיך עפרה של רגליהון של חכמייה ע"ה מסעוד א"א יוסף בוחתירה .

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 672; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 5 May 1928.
