Ff. 2r-4v: the treatise, in six chapters.
Ff. 5r-26v: tables are giving the conjunctions and appositions of the planets, lunar and solar eclipses, and dates of the new moon.

Collation
3 quires: i-ii10 (ff. 1-10, 11-20), iii12-2 (ff. 21-30). The quires are on guards.
Condition
The verso of f. 30 is stuck to a paper leaf.
Usage stains, worm damage.
The lower margin of numerous leaves has been cut off.

Hair side and flesh side are distinguishable.

Italian Hebrew semi-cursive and square script of the 15th century; in black and red ink.
Decoration
Zodiac signs in medallions, in ink with in red background (ff. 5v-11r); Zodiac signs in medallion, in ink (ff. 11v-17v and ff. 19v-25r).
Full-page illustration of the zodiac wheel on f. 27v, and how the zodiac signs correspond the Christian months. The sign 'ḳeshet' is labelled as 'Sagetariu[s]'.
Additions:F. 29v: Decorated initial word שש - might have been planned to be at the beginning of the codex?; doodles of Zodiac signs added by a later hand.
F. 28r: Latin equivalent of the Hebrew names of the Zodiac signs labelled: המזלות בלשון נוצרי ושבעת כוכבי...

BM in-house. The original binding must have been similar to that of London BL Or 11792 and Or 11793 (both from Jacques Nicolas Colbert's library).

Purchase note on f. 30r written by Daniel ben Abraham who sold the manuscript to Joseph ben Isaac of Traetto (today Minturno): מודה אני דניאל יזי"י בכמ' אברהם ישראל מקשטרו כמו שמכרתי אלו השש כנפים לעמנאל לכמר' יוסף בכר' יצחק מטראיטו ישרו' מכירה שרירה חלוטה קיימא ועלי לפצותו מכל טענה וערער ומחלתי לנדמי אונאה ... וחתמתי שמי פה שריר וקים - דניאל בכמ' אברהם ... ישרו בכר' שתבי ז"ל .
Crossed out purchase note on f. 30r written by Moses ben Joseph, who bought the manuscript from Elḥanan ben Joseph ha-Rofe of Traetto: היום יום ד' ... קניתי אני משה ב"כ יוסף ... אילן השש כנפים הר' אלחן בכ"ר יוסף הרופא מטרייטו
In the upper margin of f. 2r, an old catalogue number(?): '3729'.
Ownership inscription on f. 1r with the name erasured: 'hich(?) liber este mey ...'
Very faded Hebrew inscription on f. 1r.
Once belonged to the libary of Jacques Nicolas Colbert, Archbishop of Rouen (1655-1707): a fragment from the original binding is stuck onto the back pastedown with the archbishop's coat.
Once it belonged to the library of Charles de Pradel (1644?-1696), Bishop of Montpellier: a fragment from the flyleaf of the old binding(?) stuck onto back flyleaf (i)v: 'ex libris Biblioteca D. D. Caroli de Pradél epipi Montspe'.
