Provenance and Acquisition

F. 39v: in English: 'Rahamim Yacoob Cohen Esqr. Finish Dressing. Closed all Sterday(sic!). Address Near Peer Mussa Miyasaheb's House No. 3189, Ahmedabad.'

F. 40r: a shopkeeper's advertisement for tailoring and women's hat-making in Gujarati, and at bottom of the leaf the two words īstri ṭopī (women's hat) in Gujarati in Hebrew characters.
