It was first published in Constantinople in 1516 and appeared in several subsequent editions. This MS was copied from one of the printed editions. Another copy of this work is found in Montefiore MS 486 (Lot 366 of the Sotheby's sale, 2004) (see Sotheby's sales' catalogue 2004).
This MS is not listed among the existing MSS of the work in Epstein's Tales of Sendebar, pp. 340-341.
One of the Eastern versions of a group of popular tales known collectively as the Book of Sindibad.

Collation
Front pastedown + ff. 1-11 constitute a quire of 12 leaves, and f. 12 and back pastedown are a bifolio.
It seems that catchwords used to be on all pages, but some have been trimmed off.
