Three sheets of handmade Korean paper glued side by side and folded to fit covers measuring 225 x 145 cm. The map of Korea measures 1050 x 825 mm, the star chart 830 x 1054 mm and the table of distances 1270 x 735.
The brown paper covers are impressed with a fretwork pattern. Title slips on front and back cover read 渾天圖 and 輿地圖.
