Title page on f. 8r: שירים לאלדינו שחבר ... כמוה"הר יעקב בירדוגו נר"ו ... . The title page refers to the author as alive, so it was most probably copied before 1843.
F. 75v: נחלה בני אל איום ונורא כאשר סייעני לגמור את הספר הנחמד הזה מראש ועד סופ כך יעזרני על דבר ... ואיר עיניי' תורתו ויפתח לביו בתורתו ויקויים בנו... שכתוב לה ימושו מפיך ומפי זרעך ומפי זרע זרעך אמר ה' ... כ"ד החותם בחמשה ועשרים יום לחדש אדר ... וישמע אלהים את באקתם לכן הצעיר ...רחמי אל צור יוספ ן' צור ס"ט.

Hand(s)
Oriental Hebrew semi-cursive, cursive and square scripts of the 19th century. Main scribe was Joseph ben Judah ibn Tsur (at least of ff. 1-75). Various different hands.

Full border with ink decorations on f. 8r. Decorative panel on f. 17r.
Additions:Binding
Post-1600, brown leather covers on wooden board. Blind-tooled. Boxed.
