Foliation:

Foliation in Arabic numerals in pencil.

Numerous unfoliated blank leaves in the collation. The foliation skipped folio 1, and the volume starts with folio 2.

F. 14: text is upside down.

Earlier pagination in ink from left to right, and it included the blank leaves as well.

6 quires: i8 (including front pastedown), ii8, iii6, iv-v8, vi8 (including back pastedown).

Condition

Usage stains, slight iron gall ink corrosion.

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 1049; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 1 October 1931.
