Includes: novellae on Yehoshuʿa bin Nun (f. 2), a leaf from a composition on kabbalah (f. 3), private records from the year 5541 (in 1780/1) and from the year 5557 (in 1796/7) (ff. 6-7), calculations (ff. 4, 5, 9v-11 etc.), a shetar (legal document) from the year 5593 (in 1832/3) (f. 8r), a letter addressed to Avraham Krispin in Ladino (f. 9r), a letter from the year 5506 (in 1745/6) in Judeo-Arabic (f. 12), letters in Yiddish and Hebrew (ff. 15, 17). The letter on f. 16 is from the year 5585 (in 1824/5).

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 1695; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 6 April 1932.
