Ownership inscription on f. 93v: תנו רבנן לעולם יכתוב אדם שמו על ספרו שמא יאבו(!) אדם אחד מין השוק ויאמר שלי עז על כן כתבתי שמי על ספרי הצעיר שלום... - the name at the end of the inscription is modified by a later hand. The same ownership inscription can be found in London, BL, Or 12294 (ff. 26r, 53v), with the same modification.
Black octogonal stamp with inscriptions in Arabic script on ff. 16r, 19r, 34r.
Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 786; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 10 March 1930.
