Black octogonal stamp with inscriptions in Arabic script on f. 2r.
Note in the lower margin of f. 1r.
Ff. 26r and 53v: ownerships inscriptions probably by the same person who added the note on f. 1r: זיה הספיר שלי הצעיר שלום פרידים(?) יצ"ו. The name of the owner is modified in the inscription on f. 53v. The same ownership inscription can be found in London, BL, Or 12291 (f. 93v), with the same modification.
Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 787; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 10 March 1930.
