Provenance and Acquisition

Ownership inscription on f. 47r by Moses Gaster: 'M. Gaster מרחשון התרס"ג'

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 403; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 20 March 1928.
