Provenance and Acquisition

Cairo Genizah?; M. Gaster's note in pencil on f. 1r suggests that the fragments are from the Karaite genizah in Jerusalem.

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 1331; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924.
