Rubbing of a stone inscription

Rubbing of a stone inscription found in the eastern wall of Htat Cwamceli, two miles west of Kengtung on the way to Taunggyi, Shan State in Burma. At the top of the inscription is a Zata / Duang chata circle flanked by two flower ornaments. The inscription in Tai Khuen script contains information about a donation of a Buddha statue and a Vihara (assembly hall in a Buddhist monastery) that was made in honour of the Great King of Jeng Saen (Chiang Saen) and his Queen, by Nang (Ms) Kham Daeng and her family on the seventh day of the week (Saturday), 14th day of the waxing moon of the seventh month (June), BE 2464 (AD 1921).
