Author:The Ms. contains only a limited amount; a statement of the 18 points of difference between the Vaḍakaḷai and Teṅkaḷai schools (fol. 19)'written down by Kuṭṭi Ayyaṅkar, a Tenkaḷai Brahman and Adhyāpaka Mirāsidar of the great Viṣṇu temple at Conjeveram. Conjeveram, Feb.19, 1867.'.
various notes on Śaivism (including Liṅga worship), some remarks on the Cārvākas (including a copy of Cowell's version of the first chapter of the Sarvadarśanasaṅgraha (J.A.S.B.,xxxi.pp.375-382)), Nāya worship (foll. 90sq.) including an extract from Burton's 'Mission to the King of dahome' (2nd ed., vol. ii, p.148; vol.i, p.93), the ātman (fol.97).
The Cārvāka section is accompanied (foll.88,89) by extracts from (a)the Śivatatvaratnākara, IX.6, and (b)Adhyāya III of the Āsurakāṇḍa of the Śivarahasyakhaṇḍa of the Skānda(-Purāṇa), the former in Telugu, the latter in Grantha writing.
From neither work, however, is anything actually cited.
