Compiled from the commentary on the Mishnah by Maimonides, the ʿArukh of Nathan ben Jehiel and al-Sharḥ al-ʿAdanī, which latter probably refers to Melekhet Shlomoh, the commentary on the Mishnah by Solomon ben Joshua Adeni.

The first entries are with some variations in comparision with the facsimile edition of the book Al-Jama, 1987/8).

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 658; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 9 September 1929.
