The collection describes the conditions of the Yemenite Jews living in Jerusalem in the 19th century, and it is addressed to the rabbinical authorities in Sana'a and London and to Solomon ben Joseph Caro.

F. 15r: the name of the person who wrote the appeal has been torn out: הצעיר הקל עפר רגלי חכמים... לא"א כהר"ר א... יש"ל.
