Ff. 16r-66r: the original compilation of 270 medical prescriptions; ff. 66r-106v: further entries (nos. 271-487) are added in contemporary or later hands.
Ff. 54r-54v: the names of several physicians are mentioned: Joel, the physician of Pope Leo X (1210-1276): ...זהו הסדר אשר נהג הרופא מ"ה יואל רופא מהפיפאור ליאון; Maestro Anquino, known as Isaac, the physician of the Duke of Bourgogne: מש' אנקינו ששמו ר' יצחק רופא מהדוכוס אביראנייא בעת התעסקו ברפואת הקונטי מארמנייאקה ... ; Binjamin, the physician who treated Philippo Visconti, the Duke of Milan: כאמר בנימן הרופא פרש ... ... רופא מהדוכוס ממילינה יר"ה בהתעסקו לרפאת מס' פיליפו ויסקונטו ; and Jacob Richetta, who treated Duke Ercole I d'Este: מש' יעקב מריקיטה זצ"ל על הרוב עשה המשקה והמרחץ הכל יחד עם דבש אכן בעד הדוכוס אירקולי אדון מפיררה. Just like in this manuscript, in the Cambridge manuscript the part about the physicians is followed by a `polemic' on the `Greek potion'. In the Vatican manuscript it is on ff. 151v–153r.
Ff. 55r-55v: a 'polemic' on the 'Greek potion' by a physician called Isaac: הויכוח אשר עשה הר' יצחק הרופא ז"ל קיים סגולת המשקה היוני....

Ff. 66r-106v: further entries. The names of several physicians and healers are mentioned here as well, among others: Stella, sister-in-law of Menahem of Lugo: מפי מנחם מלוגו מפי מרת סטילה גיסתו (f. 96v); Anna wife of the physician Jacob Ashkenazi: ע"פ מרת אנה אשת כמ"ר יעקב אשכנזי הרופא (f. 97v); Malka, the wife of one of the later scribes: מרת מלכה אשתי (f. 102v).
Ff. 69r-73r: recipes in Latin (nos. 287-307).
Ff. 100r-102r: treatise on practical kabbalah: שלוש מעלות שנתנו לאדם הראשון.

Originally quire i was 16 leaves plus a parchment folio, but its first paper leaf has been cut off; quire ix was 14 leaves plus a parchment folio, but now its first three folios are cut off.
Catchword at the end of quire ii (f. 27v).
