A thin folio volume, containing an attested copy of the Decree relating to Ashdowne Forest [Ashdown Forest], in the cause between the Earl of Dorset [Charles Sackville] and others, plaintiffs, and John Newnham, gentleman, and others, defendants, 8 July 1693. Wherein are noted the shares allotted for the proprietors of the Forest for their enclosure and improvement, and also the shares for the tenants commonage and pasturage, according to the directions of a commission issued out of the Duchy Court of Lancaster, 21 December 1692 (22 pages).
Also a copy of the Interlocutory Decree in the same cause, containing the Bill and Answers, and History of the cause, 4 December 1691 (33 pages).
