Some of the leaves of this manuscript having been transposed by the binder, Mr. Cole has prefixed an index of contents, with reference to the pages as they stand at present (page *1). He supposes it to have belonged to Mr. Layer of Shepereth, and in 1721 it was in the hand of Thomas Wiseman, Herald, Printer of Cambridge.
