Volume 58 of Mr. Cole’s Collections, containing collections for ‘The History of Trinity Hall, [Cambridge], by Dr. William Warren, Fellow of the College and President’, 1730. Transcribed by Mr. Cole in 1780 from the original manuscript preserved in the college. Mr. Cole has added notes throughout, and has prefixed some account of the manuscript with the Arms emblazoned of:
1. Trinity Hall
2. William Bateman, Bishop of Norwich, the Founder (With a notice of his private seal, 27 Edw. III [1353/1354]
3. University of Cambridge
4. Dr. William Warren, Master of Trinity Hall
5. Dr. Hallifax, Regius Professor of Civil Law
6. Hallifax impaling [unknown]
7. Cole, Tuer, and Fitzhugh, quarterly. (pages 1-311)
At the end Mr. Cole has added copied of his letter to Dr. Hallifax and the Reverend Mr. Sandiford, returning thanks for the loan of the manuscript. Dated Milton, 5 May 1780. (page 312)
