Volume 60 of Mr. Cole’s Collections, chiefly relating to Cambridgeshire, viz.
1. Extracts from the Registers of Wills in the Diocese of Ely:
i. Extracts from the Volume marked K of the registry, from AD1537 to AD 1561 inclusive. With an index of testator’s names and principal Persons, Places, and Matters. (pages 3-114)
ii. Extracts from the volume marked I of the Registry, from AD 1575 to AD 1533, inclusive, with a similar index. (page 115-252) Mr. Cole has added illustrative notes throughout and has prefixed some remarks on the use of these Registers and the arms of the See of Ely Emblazoned. (page 2).
2. Extracts from the Middle or Second Register of St. Peter’s College in Cambridge, from AD 1646 to AD 1719. (Exclusive of a list of the benefactors to St. Peter’s Chapel, from 1628-1639). Mr. Cole has prefixed the Arms of the College emblazoned and a description of the manuscript, and at the end an Index of names. (pages 254-342).

3. Extracts from a third Register pf St. Peter’s College from AD 1658 to AD 1670 with notes by Cole, and an index of names (pages 343-369).
4. Transcript of St. Lo Kniveton’s Collections relative to the Family of Cavendish, copied from a manuscript in the possession of Dr. Farmer, Master of Emmanuel College. The title in the manuscript runs thus: ‘Observationes quædam de perantiqua et illustri Familia de Cavendish sive Caundish, ex Archivis, Scriniis G. Regiis, monumentis et Testamentis fideliter extractæ, et Nobilissimo Viro Domino Guilielmo Cavendish, Baroni Cavendish de Hardwic, in Com. Derbiæ, dedicatæ, per St. Loum Knyveton, Collectorum’, with notes by Mr. Cole. Prefixed are the Arms in trick of William Cavendish, Baron Cavendish of Hardwick, Richard Cavendish of Suffolk esquire, and Sir Andrew Cavendish, with some few memoranda added by the transcriber, concerning the Family. (pages 370-397.
5. List of Gilds in the County of Cambridge, collected by Mr. Cole from the Wills in Register J of the Bishop of Ely’s Office. (pages 434-435).
6. List of Rectors and Vicars, and Dedications of Churches in the Diocese of Ely, from the Registers of wills, in alphabetical order. (page 440-471, 438, 439).
7. Dedications wanting in Cambridgeshire, and List of Bells, copied from a manuscript note of Browne Willis. (page 439)At the beginning of this volume are some memoranda touching the prices of provisions, value of coin etc. collected from the wills in the Registers of Ely, (page *1) and at the end is added a rough draft of a brief general table of contents. (page *472).
