Collections chiefly relating to the University of Cambridge by Mr. Cole, the first part of which is intended as a supplement to his materials for the Athenæ Cantabrigienses. (77 folios, and 203 pages), viz.
1. Initial letters of names of Cambridge Authors, with the Titles of their works, and anonymous tracts, with an Index prefixed. (folios 1-46)
2. Memoranda, chiefly from Newspapers, relating to the murder of Miss Ray by the Reverend James Hackman, 7 April 1779, intended as a sequel to the account of John Montagu, Earl of Sandwich (to whom the Lady was mistress) given in Volume S of the ‘Athenæ’. (folios 75-77)
3. Transcript of a List of all the Bachelors of Arts graduated at Cambridge from AD 1500 to AD1716 inclusive. Copied from the MS collections of Dr. William Richardson, Master of Emanuel College. Prefixed are some remarks by Mr. Cole on Dr. Richardson’s Manuscripts, and the Arms emblazoned of:
