A thin Volume in quarto (pages i-iv and 1-69), containing in Mr. Cole’s handwriting:
1. An account of the escape of King Charles I into the Scotch Army before Newark, with his Reception and stay at Stamford in Lincolnshire, 1646. In a letter from Dr. Stukeley to Noah Curtis of Wolsthorp esquire. Dated Stamford, 3 May 1746. Prefixed are some remarks by Mr. Cole, addressed to the Reverend Michael Tyson (for whom the transcript was made from the original in the possession of Mr. Gough, 1774), and the arms emblazoned of:
