Transcripts of all of these are inserted by William Cole in various previous volumes of his collections (see Add MS 5825, 5826, 5831, 5844, 5845, 5850, etc.).

The contents of this volume were subsequently published in Quarto, London 1818, under the title of ‘Letters from the Honourable Horace Walpole to the Reverend William Cole and others, from the year 1745 to the year 1782’.
