A small quarto volume (243 folios), which originally consisted of three parts, now bound up together, containing Extracts from Records and printed works relating to English History and Topography, Civil and Ecclesiastical. They were given to Mr. Cole in 1780 by the widow of Dr. Charles Mason, and supposed at first by Mr. Cole to be in Dr. Mason’s handwriting, but afterwards, on the authority of Dr. Lort, ascribed to Dr. John Colbatch of Trinity College Cambridge.
