Original Court Rolls of the Manor of Flampsted, in Hertfordshire, belonging to Julius Ferrers esquire and John Ferrers esquire (subsequently Sir John Ferrers). Written fairly in Vellum, in a large folio volume (103 folios). A few leaves have been cut out at the beginning and end. The date of the earliest roll now perfect is 24 April, 23 Eliz. [1581], and they proceed regularly to 5 April, 6 Jac. I [1608].
