A thick folio volume (609 folios), being the Commonplace Book of Sir Julius Cæsar, in his own hand (chiefly in Latin), alphabetically arranged, and finished 12 December 1629.
The contents are principally of an ethical and theological description.
Prefixed is the Printed Title and ‘Præfatio ad lectorem’ of the ‘Pandectæ Locorum Communium, per Joan. Foxum. Lond. Joh. Day, 1572’. (folios a-i) and at the end of the volume an Index of Matters.
