A quarto volume, pp. 245, containing, in Professor Ward’s handwriting, ‘Memoirs of the Society for the Incouragement of Learning, taken from the Register of their Meetings, and Minute Books of the Committee,’ from its constitution in 1736 to its dissolution in 1749, pp. 1-191, with an ‘Appendix of Letters,’ chiefly relating to the works published by the society.
