Thin Volume in folio of 59 and 189 folios; Containing an exact and literal copy of that part of the Latin edition of [William] Camden’s Annals of Queen Elizabeth which comprises the History of her Reign from the year 1583, to the year 1587, inclusive from the original autograph ‘À prima manu’ in the Cotton MS. Faust. f. X. folios 105-170.
At the end is annexed a collation of the printed text of these Annals, from page 344 to page 428, ed. D.1615, with autograph MS. ‘À prima manu Camdeni’.
Prefixed is a copy of a letter from Sir Robert Cecyll, afterwards Earl of Salisbury, to ---, relative to some papers he had written by the wish of Mr. Secretary Walsingham. Dated from the Court. 1 December, 1586.
