A small quarto volume of 16 pages, in which is a fair transcript, in Mr Loveday’s handwriting, of the second volume of Professor [John] Ward’s “Dissertations on the Sacred Scriptures”, posthumously published from this copy, 8o[Octavo] London, 1774. At the beginning is an “Advertisement” by Mr L[oveday] and a list of errata, and at the end a few papers touching the publication of the work, (including the original receipt from W[illiam] Johnston, the bookseller, dated 18 June, 1773) and a list of the Dissertations which the contents of printed volume, in Ward’s own writing.
