A thick quarto volume of 354 folios. Consisting of thirty-four Orations, Dissertations, etc, the greater part in Professor Ward’s handwriting; who has added notes to each. Viz.
1. Oratio Rogero Marbeck, coram Regina Elizabetha, Oxonii habita, August, 31, 1566. Folios 106.Copied by J[ohn] W[ard] from a MS in the Bodleian Library.
2. Oratio a Jesuitarum Anglicorum Collegio ad carolum Principem in Hispania habita, folios 7-10.At the end is this note by Ward “This Oration was sent T.H by T.13 transcribed from a copy found among the papers of Bishop W. Loveday has added: “V. Huddesford’s Catalogue of Wood’s MSS no 23. Page.22”.

An account of Mr Chishull’s papers, from which he composed and published the first volume of his ‘Asiatic Inscriptions’ ; and from which also a second volume was compiled and digested by John Ward, now in the hands of Dr Mead, imprinted. Professor Ward has added various notes connected with Mr Chishull’s work, and at the end folio 60 is inserted a printed fac-simile of a Greek inscription in the possession of Dr Mead.
