A folio volume of 54 folios, made up from detached papers found loose and dispersed in different parts of Professor Ward’s Collections. They are:
1. Copy of a Memorial of several noblemen and Gentlemen of rank and fortune, respecting the education of the Prince of Wales, folio 1.
2. Duplicate copy of above Folio 3.A note at the end states: “this remarkable paper was sent by ye[the] Penny-post, inclosed in a cover, to General Hawley, Ab[bot]t. The 18 of December, 1752 with an intent (‘tis supposed) yt[that] he should carry it directly to ye[the] Duke. But he carried it to ye[the] Duke of Newcastle, who laid it before ye[the] King”.
3. Letter from George L[ewis] Scott, Esquire to Professor Ward, requesting him to introduce M. Schrader an Hanoverian gentleman, to Dr Pemberton. Dated Savile House, 10 May, 1754. Folio 5.
