A small quarto volume of 22 folios (exclusive of Preface and Index) containing another collection of Swan Marks, copied on Vellum, apparently in the reign of Henry VIII [1509-1547] and Elizabeth [1558-1603], Sir Joseph Banks has prefixed some Remarks, in which he conjectures the volume to have belonged to a Clerk of the Session of Swans in Lincolnshire, and to have been commenced (originally) about the year 1529. Sir Joseph has also added an Alphabetical Index of the owner’s names at the end.
