This volume has been made out of several bundles of papers and fragments which came with Mr. Cole’s Collections.
A thin folio volume (28 folios), containing original letters, chiefly addressed to the Reverend Dr. Zachary Grey of Cambridge, the editor of Hudibras.
1. Letter from William Bedford, concerning some affair at the University in which he was a party interested. Dated London, 29 November 1735. (folios 1, 2)
2. Letter from Thomas Carte, relative to subscriptions for his work (Ormonde Papers). Sale if the volume of letters. Dated London, 22 February 1734/1735. (folios 3, 4)
3. Letter from Thomas Carte. Sale of his work. His intention to undertake a History of England, and progress of this affair. Prejudices of people in regard to King Charles I. Dated London, 25 April 1737. (folio 5, 6)
