- Title:
- Tables of complete decimal quotients, arising from the Division of any whole number from 1 to 1024 by any whole number from 1 to 1024.
- Scope & Content:
-
Fourth of 4 volume in large folio, containing tables of complete decimal quotients (to six and sometimes eight and ten places), arising from the Division of any whole number from 1 to 1024 by any whole number from 1 to 1024.
In this volume:
1. Continuation of the series of complete decimal quotients, from divisor 920 to divisor 1024. (pages 681-816)
2. A table containing the number of entered quotients, beginning with a .9, a .8, a .7, a .6, and a .5, that are derived from each divisor in the preceding tables of complete decimal quotients. (pages 825-837)
3. A table showing for all divisors from 1 to 1024, their respective factors; the number of quotients entered in the preceding tables; the number of different entered and unentered circles, and of digits in each; the product of the digits in each circle multiplied into the number of circles; and the number of entered and unentered quotients. (pages 841-851)
4. A table showing for all divisors from 1 to 1024, which produce terminating quotients, pure circulating quotients, and mixed circulating quotients. (pages 855-863)
5. A table of the products of all the divisors, from 1 to 1024, multiplied by the power of 2 and 5 respectively. (pages 866-874)
6. A table of the powers of 2 and 5, separate and combined, and their products. (pages 876-877)
7. A table containing all the digits in all the circles that can arise from the division of a unit, or of any whole number whatever by all integers, from 1 to 1024. (pages 881-883)
