Ownership inscriptions on f. 1r: 'Isac qm. Donat Sacerdotti', 'Rachel d'isac Sacerdotti', 'Se questo libro si perdesse et il nome di Padrone non si sapesse io che per morire sono nato Graziadio ... angel... Sacerdotti son nominato. Reggio 13 aprile 1767 - fado da me Zaccaria Simon Cantoni(?)'.

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 270; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 18 February 1928.
