With commentaries and notes in the margins, and with commentaries by Tzemah (e.g. f. 81v: צמח אמר..., f. 169r צמח בעץ החיים במקום זה...), and by Yaʿaḳov Toledano (1690-1771) On f. 172r: מצאתי כת"י החכם השלם ההר' יעקב טולידאני נר"ו וז"ל ("I have found the writings of the perfect sage ... Rabbi Yaʿaḳov Toledano").
On ff. 249r-261v: notes and commentaries, most probably on Mavo Sheʿarim, which end with: ע"כ מצאתי כתובים בידי אהובינו כהר’ שלמה טאפיירו נר"ו ("these are the writings I found by our beloved the honourable Rabbi Shlomoh Tapiero").
Ff. 262r-267v: סדר נכון ליכנס לחכמת הקבלה ("the correct order to enter the wisdom of the kabbalah"), and the names of God with their mystical intentions (kaṿanot).

Parallel Hebrew foliation by the scribe covering also the blank folios. F. 1 = f. ג; that is at least 2 leaves are missing from the beginning.
Collation
Mostly quires of 8-10 leaves.
Catchword on every page.
Condition
Water damage, mould, worm damage.
Collation is falling apart, detached from the spine.
Pasteboard covers with printer's waste are coming apart.
Ff. 1-6 are in an especially bad condition; earlier repairs cover some of the text.

Uniform layout.
Section headings are in larger square script.
Ruling (outer lines of the textblock) is visible in places.
Running title added by a different, probably later hand.
