17 quires: i8-1 (unfoliated leaves + ff. 1-5), ii-vi8 (ff. 6-13, 14-21, 22-29, 30-37, 38-45), vii8+4 (ff. 46-57), viii-xii8 (ff. 58-65, 66-73, 74-81, 82-89, 90-97), xiii6 (ff. 98-103), xiv8-1 (ff. 105-108 + blank leaves), xv8-1 (blank leaves), xvi8 (blank leaves), xvii8-1.

The 'missing' folios from the first and last quires serve as pastedowns.

Ff. are smaller biofolios inserted into the quire constituted of ff. 46-48, 53-57.

Collation is falling apart, some leaves, bifolios are entirely detached.

Ff. 110-114r: later addition by another hand; there is a date(?) in the upper margin of f. 110: '1867'. Ff. 110: 'Este gyertyakravalo immatsag' is in Yiddish and Hebrew in Latin script.

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 1363; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 1 February 1932.
