Headed paper inserted into the collation (f. 276 and unfoliated leaf after f. 273): 'Mr Benzaquin London 23rd March 1785.

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 1254; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 2 February 1932.
