ff. 1v-322r, text of the Qur’an;
f. 322v, doodles and wakaf (endowment) notes: bahwa ini Qur’an waqabnya Enci’ Musa bin Enci’ / waqab fi al-masjid Sunan Giri., 'this Qur'an has been endowed by Mister Musa, son of Mister / endowed to the mosque of Sunan Giri'; the Sunan Giri mosque is in Gresik, near Surabaya, East Java.
Text frames of 3 ruled black lines. Verse (ayah) markers are red circles, 5 mm diameter. Surah headings in red ink, some with knotted ta marbuta, set in 3 ruled black ink frames. Marginalia: juz’ marked in the margin with red inscriptions, with the first words of the text in red, and end of the previous juz’ marked with two or three composite red circles. Other marginal inscriptions: maqra’ inscribed in black ink or pencil, very occasional ‘ayn in pencil. Some marginal corrections. No illumination. First pages (ff. 1v-2r) set in small frames, and also beginning of Surat al-Kahf (ff. 145v-146r).

15 lines per page, black ink, not very competent hand. Text block 220 x 120 mm.
Binding: Original red leather stamped and tooled binding with envelope flap.
