Qur’ān, in Arabic, a copy from Aceh.
f.315r: colophon in Malay: Inilah Qur'an milik Teungku Ti orang baruh duduk pada nenggeri Lam Kubu tetapi Qur'an ini diwakaf pada tangan Teungku Abdul Kadir Lam Siwi[?]akhir[?]kalam tamma, ‘This is the Qur'an belonging to Teungku Ti, from the coastal lowlands (baruh), who resides in the state of Lam Kubu, but this Qur'an has been endowed (in perpetuity, for charitable purposes) to the hands of Teungku Abdul Kadir of Lam Siwi [?], finis.’
Text frames are ruled lines of red-black-red-black ink. Verse (ayah) markers are black circles coloured with yellow pigment. Surah headings are in red ink, sometimes set in ruled frames sometimes flanking or flanked by the final words of the preceding surah; some unfinished. The first line of each juz’ is in red ink. Parts (half, quarter, eighth) of a juz' are indicated in the text with a composite ornament of 4 red and yellow roundels. No marginalia.
3 sets of double decorated frames, in brown and black ink:ff. 1v-2r: double frames which, unusually for the Acehnese style, have no arches on the outer vertical sides.ff. 147v-148r: typical Acehnese style with looped vine motif, extended vertical borders, arches and wings; f.148r is damaged and partially lost.ff. 313v-314r: double frames without side arches

15 lines per page, dark brown ink, typical Acehnese hand (with very angular kaf with a hooked right-hand top stroke), catchwords on each folio. Some folios heavily repaired.
ff. 140-5 bound upside down.
Binding: quarter buckram western binding with marbled paper boards, with black tape on spine and gold ink inscription: al-Qur’ān. New endpapers.
