I (1v-15r).
The donor of the endowment is Emin-zade el-Hacc Ahmed Aga ibn el-Hacc Mehemmed Aga ibn Yahya Çavus (3v), a resident of the 'Isa Beg mahalle in the Tuzcu Sinan Beg area of Kara Firya, in a city referred to as (Mahrusa) which in the case appears to be Selanik (Thessaloniki). The vakf properties consist of houses, shops and workshops, a medrese with living accommodation for nine students and a lecturer (müderris), these being in 'Isa Beg mahalle; and the rent from a number of properties in the nearby Baba Tekye mahalle and some farmland in the same region. The funds are to be used for a variety of religious purposes, mainly in relation to the medrese and a mosque.
The introduction to the deed is in rhymed prose. Included as an appendix are tables containing the names of 51 witnesses (13v-14v) and of 33 books held in the library, together with valuations of them, between 3 and 30 kuruş (14v-15r).
Dated Sa'ban 1128/July-August 1716, f. 13r, and signed on f. 1v by Ebu Ishak Isma'l.
Fine illumination on f. 1v with gilding and peonies, and with chief witnesses' seal impressions including that of Seyyid 'Abd-ullah, Nakb 'ala Esraf il-Memalik il-'Osmanye.
II (16v-21v):
An addendum to the above vakfiye, the donor now being employed as Director of the Imperial Gunpowder Magazine (Baruthane Naziri) and so resident in Istanbul, in the mahalle of Elvan-zade near Hvaca Pasa (Hoca Pasa). The sum of 2,500 kuruş is now to be added to the endowment, and provision made for several additional benefactions, including teaching of the Kur'an at Müslih-id-din Mosque in Yenişehir, the upkeep of a rural Halveti tekye (Sufi centre) and feeding the poor there. The names of 25 witnesses are tabulated at the end.
Undated, but later than 1128/1716. Fine illumination on 16v: much gilding and small pastel flowers, with witnesses' seal impressions.
