Text starts and ends on the pastedowns called f. 1v and f. 47r (consequently there are no ff. 1r or 47v).

Usage stains, tears, foxing.
Collation is falling apart.
Boards of the binding were done by pasting paper manuscript waste together. By now the glue gave away, and boards are falling apart making some of the waste paper visible (these leaves are digitised and called flyleaves in the digital surrogate).

Hand(s)
Samaritan majuscule script of the 18th century with 19th-century additions to complete the text. Amram ben Salama ben Tabya ben Isaac (active 1806-1822) was the scribe who oversaw the restauration, and wrote the majority of the nineteenth-century portion.
