Condition

Ff. 2-7 have been reattached to the outermost bifolio of quire is upside down.

Some leaves, quires are loose (e.g. ff. 9-11, f. 22, 32).

Collation is very fragile.

Usage stains, worm damage.

Ashkenazi semi-cursive script of the 15th-16th century. Hebrew words are usually vocalised.

Hand 1: smaller characters in brown ink: ff. 1r-30v, 35-40, 45-54.

Hand 2: larger characters in black ink: ff. 31r-34v, 41-44, 55-202.

Paper binding. Boxed.

Old label on spine: 'כתיבת יד האשכנזי'; M. Gaster's label on spine: '722 מחזור ר"ה וי"כ בלשון אשכנז'.
