A collection of documents, which reflect some of the local preoccupations in Mandinka communities of Casamance. They deal with different divination techniques using astrological signs and names of Islamic figures to predict people's future, diagnose their problems, and provide solutions to their concerns. Some manuscripts include special recipes for fame, success, protection against enemies, and treatments of various illnesses. The manuscripts are written in Mandinka Ajami with some figures and prayers in Arabic.
