This collection contains seven manuscripts. The first one is a bilingual Arabic-Mandinka Ajami text with extensive glosses in Mandinka Ajami which deals with the importance of seeking knowledge. The second document is a copy of a Mandinka Ajami poem by Sitookoto Dabo, the most famous Mandinka Ajami poet of Senegambia. The third one is a copy of a Mandinka Ajami religious text by the famous Mandinka scholar called Alpha Diadji. The fourth poem is a copy of the famous religious poem in Arabic written by the Senegalese Tijāniyya leader, El-hadji Malick Sy. The fifth poem is a copy of an Arabic poem called al-Tantarānī. The sixth manuscript is recent copy of an old Arabic document with extensive glosses in Mandinka Ajami. The seventh manuscript is a copy of an Arabic poem with extensive glosses in Arabic.
