Chakra Ratna Shakya Collection

Scope & Content:

This collection, which is in Patan, is one of the significant private collections of Buddhist manuscripts written with Newari scripts. Those wrere written during the medieval times. These are very important manuscripts both in terms of religious practice and academic discourses. Some of the texts in this collection are still in use during religious performances. It has Tantras, Stotras, Dharanis and Sutras.
