Leather binding: covers are brown, spine is beige; with remains of a pair of loops. Boxed.

Origin: 1700-1799 18th cenury

Provenance and Acquisition

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 653; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 9 September 1929.
