This volume contains a commentary on the Qaṣīdat al-burdah (قصيدة البردة) of Abū ᶜabdullāh Muḥammad ibn Saᶜīd al-Būṣīrī (died 694 AH/1294-95 CE or 696 AH/1296-97 CE) by Seyit Ahmet İbn-i Mustafa known as Lali (died 971 AH/1563-64 CE).The text is a Sufi poem in praise of the Prophet Muhammad صلعم.
Copious marginalia throughout the text in various hands. Folio 1r contains numerous statements of ownership in Ottoman Turkish. An inscription in black ink on folio 64r has largely been effaced.
A new text begins on f. 64v, with small gold medallions interspersed between sentences on ff. 64v-65r. A small ownership stamp appears on f. 66r.
Extensive water damage. The manuscript is undated and defective at both the beginning and end of the text.
