The Kurdish national epic Mam û Zîn, originally composed by Ehmed Xanî. A masnavi poem on themes of love.
The manuscript has been foliated to begin from f. 3v, the start of the masnavi. Folios 1r-3r contain couplets and various graffiti in nastaliq, some of them dated from 1225 AH (1810-11 CE), others from 1243 AH (1827-28 CE).
Marginalia in various hands occurs throughout the manuscript, in both Kurmanji Kurdish and Persian.
Folio 107r (labeled as 105r) contains a brief colophon, as well as a series of 15 seals with the names of individuals written below them. A small ownership seal can also be found on f. 108v.
The manuscript was copied in 1221 AH (1806-07 CE) by ᵓabd al-Bāqī bī-Talqīn and sponsored by Arjumand Ibrāhīm Khān.
